Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a> has found herself once again on the receiving end of backlash from Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/a> fans after it was announced that she would be starring in, and producing, the upcoming romantic comedy The Survival List<\/em>.<\/p>\n On Thursday, August 21, Deadline<\/em><\/a> shared a post on the outlet\u2019s Instagram account sharing the news \u2014 and the comments section quickly flooded with remarks.<\/p>\n \u201cGood luck, never going to watch anything with you in it,\u201d wrote one person, while another added, \u201cWhat kind of chokehold do Blake and Ryan<\/strong> [Reynolds<\/strong>]<\/a> have on Hollywood? Seriously, it\u2019s so baffling to me. Justice for Justin.\u201d<\/p>\n A third Instagram user chimed in and wrote, \u201cGood luck to the director dealing with her drama.\u201d<\/p>\n Baldoni, 41, and Lively, 37, have been locked in a heated legal battle since the former Gossip Girl<\/em> star filed a lawsuit against him in December 2024.<\/p>\n Lively accused him of creating a hostile work environment<\/a> through sexual harassment and further claimed that he and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, had orchestrated a \u201csocial manipulation\u201d or smear campaign aimed at destroying her reputation.<\/p>\n The Jane the Virgin<\/em> actor later followed up with a countersuit of his own and sued Lively, Reynolds, 48, and her publicist for $400 million accusing them of extortion and defamation.
