Christine Baranski<\/strong><\/a> is addressing the speculation around her relationship status with King Princess<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristine and King Princess are strictly friends and nothing more,\u201d Baranski\u2019s rep said in a statement to Page Six<\/em><\/a> on Friday, August 22. \u201cThey have never been in a relationship, nor are they now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rep added that all the discussion about the pair is \u201cpure speculation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baranski, 73, and King Princess, 26, made headlines after they walked the red carpet together for Mamma Mia<\/em>\u2019s return to Broadway on Monday, August 18. Baranski famously played Tanya in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Baranski, 73, stepped out at the Winter Garden Theatre in a sequined silver suit with a pair of sunglasses. While walking down the red carpet, Baranski held hands with singer King Princess, who [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The actress donned a sequined silver suit and a pair of sunglasses. The singer (real name Mikaela Mullaney Straus) rocked a newspaper print button-down blouse with black trousers, a studded belt, multiple silver necklaces and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

The twosome were photographed holding hands<\/a> at the occasion. Following the event, King Princess shared several photos from the night on her social media and her caption raised eyebrows among some fans.<\/p>\n

\u201c#LoveIsLove,\u201d she wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, August 20.<\/p>\n

King Princess and Baranski met last year on the set of Nine Perfect Strangers<\/em> season 2. Baranski starred as Victoria, an elderly woman battling ALS. King Princess made her acting debut on the Hulu drama as Tina, a pianist who is dating Wolfie, portrayed by Maisie Richardson-Sellers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Baranski formed a fast friendship with the \u201c1950\u201d singer.<\/p>\n

The Mamma Mia<\/em> actress added that King Princess is a \u201cwildly talented young woman who\u2019s so opinionated, deeply funny and witty\u201d and referred to their friendship as \u201cthe greatest gift.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve curiously bonded and wanted to remain friends. That\u2019s a great gift,\u201d she gushed.<\/p>\n
