A fan-favorite Disney show that gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming projects is set for a comeback.<\/p>\n
Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Parks announced on Instagram that \u201cImagineer That!\u201d<\/a> will return Aug. 25 on the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel<\/a>. The short-form series originally aired on Disney Channel, hosted by robotic Tom Morrow.<\/p>\n Tom Morrow \u2014 a pun on \u201ctomorrow\u201d \u2014 debuted as the spacecraft mission\u2019s director in Disneyland\u2019s Rocket to the Moon<\/a> attraction, later rethemed as Flight to the Moon, before being rebranded as Mr. Johnson in Mission to Mars<\/a> in 1975, according to Disney Fandom.<\/a><\/p>\n Over the decades, he transformed from a human scientist into a robotic host, most memorably at Disneyland\u2019s Innoventions, where he was voiced by actor Nathan Lane.<\/a><\/p>\n A smaller version, Tom Morrow 2.0, later appeared at EPCOT in Walt Disney World and hosted Disney Channel\u2019s \u201cImagineer That!\u201d shorts from 2000 to 2007.<\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
