Nick Lachey<\/strong><\/a> and wife Vanessa Lachey<\/strong> recently bought back their home from Naomi Osaka<\/strong> after selling it five years ago \u2014 and they don\u2019t plan on going anywhere again anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s always been our dream house,\u201d Nick, 51, shared exclusively with Us Weekly<\/em> while promoting his partnership with Purina ONE LiveClear<\/a>. \u201c[We] never really got to spend time there the way we wanted to.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple originally purchased the Los Angeles property in 2020 and called it home for only five months before moving to Hawaii for Vanessa\u2019s role on NCIS<\/em>. But following the CBS show\u2019s cancellation, they headed back to L.A. and couldn\u2019t stay away from their dream pad for long. The duo paid just under $8 million to purchase the home from Osaka, 27, and they couldn\u2019t be happier to be back. (They originally sold the home for $6.3 million.)<\/p>\n

The tennis superstar resided in the home from 2022 to 2025, adding a few upgrades to the property (including a home gym) before listing it back on the market. \u201cIt\u2019s a weird scenario,\u201d Nick admitted to Us<\/em>, noting that it feels \u201csurreal\u201d to be back at the property years later.<\/p>\n

The Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> host shares three children with Vanessa \u2014 Camden, 12, Brooklyn, 10, and Phoenix 8 \u2014 and said that they\u2019re all just as excited to return to their old stomping grounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be back, the kids are thrilled to be back, it\u2019s all meant to be,\u201d he shared, before adding with a laugh, \u201cI already told [Vanessa] I\u2019m never moving again. They\u2019re gonna have to pry my dead body out of that place, I\u2019m not moving!\u201d<\/p>\n

Lachey first met his wife, 44, in 2006, and the pair dated for five years before tying the knot in 2011. They welcomed son Camden the following year, daughter Brooklyn in 2015 and son Phoenix in 2016. The twosome has since become one of Hollywood\u2019s \u2018It\u2019 couples, costing Netflix\u2019s hit reality dating shows Love is Blind<\/em> and The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s clear the Lachey family has found their happily ever after, and the actor is hoping to help other couples accomplish the same. He\u2019s partnered with Purina ONE LiveClear to aid in rescuing relationships made complicated by cat allergies. With one in five adults facing a cat allergy, the actor wants couples to know that they can live a fulfilling lifestyle with both their beloved felines and a budding romance.<\/p>\n

Having been a pet parent himself, he knows how difficult it must be for people to choose between their furry friends or exploring love. He and Vanessa shared Yorkiepoo Wookie for 15 years, and the pooch helped prepare the two to start a family. \u201c[Pets] teach you patience. They teach you understanding \u2014 you have to think about another life that\u2019s outside of yourself,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt takes away a lot of the selfishness that we have when we\u2019re younger people. For Vanessa and I as a young couple living together, Wookie was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
