The Mandalorian<\/em> was a breakout hit for Disney+, but working on the Star Wars series doesn\u2019t exactly conjure up fond memories for Katee Sackhoff.<\/p>\n The Battlestar Galactica<\/em> veteran, who played Bo-Katan Kryze on The Mandalorian<\/em>, revealed in a recent episode of her podcast The Sackhoff Show<\/a><\/em> that her two seasons on the show completely shattered her confidence as an actor, leading to her barely working in Hollywood at all for the next three years.<\/p>\n More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI lost all of my confidence after Mandalorian<\/em>, all of it,\u201d Sackhoff admitted in a conversation with her Battlestar Galactica<\/em> co-star Tahmoh Penikett. \u201cBo-Katan is nowhere near who I am as a human being. Her life, what she wants \u2014\u00a0I didn\u2019t understand her. As much as I understood her, I never felt her in my stomach. I never identified with her. I didn\u2019t know how to find her.\u201d<\/p>\n The Mandalorian Recap Season 3 Episode 6<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n As a result, \u201cit just broke me,\u201d Sackhoff remembers. \u201cI started doubting everything about myself\u2026 I wasn\u2019t booking anything. And for three years, I basically didn\u2019t work, and it just destroyed my confidence.\u201d (Sackhoff appeared in an episode of Law & Order<\/em> in 2024, along with some voice roles in animated projects.)<\/p>\n Sackhoff debuted as Bo-Katan in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars<\/em> before reprising the role in live-action form on The Mandalorian<\/em>, beginning in Season 2. Bo-Katan played a larger role in Season 3, with Sackhoff appearing in all eight episodes.
