And just like that, Millie Bobby Brown is officially a mother. <\/p>\n
The \u201cStranger Things\u201d actress, 21, and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23, turned to social media to announce that they\u2019ve adopted a baby girl. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,\u201d Brown wrote via an Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cAnd then there were 3,\u201d she concluded. <\/p>\n Brown, who is set to star in the final season of \u201cStranger Things\u201d when it premieres on Netflix beginning Nov. 26, married the son of singer Jon Bon Jovi in a private wedding ceremony in May 2024 before throwing a much larger reception in Italy months later. <\/p>\n Brown has always wanted children and even spoke about it in a March episode of the \u201cSmartLess<\/a>\u201d podcast<\/a> with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m still really young, but my mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it\u2019s been my thing since before I met Jake,\u201d she said at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me and … my grandmother is \u2014 she was a huge part of my life,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n The actress also touched upon the thought of adopting a child on the podcast. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting,\u201d she detailed at the time. \u201cFor me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I \u2014 our energy in the house is like, \u2018The door is always open.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Other than \u201cStranger Things,\u201d Brown has other Netflix films.
