The artist is experimenting with music and sharing a \u201cdarker side\u201d of herself with fans, hoping that they\u2019ll accept the new look.In her latest interview, she shared her thoughts on the album\u2019s release and what she is looking forward to.Laufey talks about new album and other things<\/span>In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the star singer shared how she has been looking forward to the album, due to the fact that it explores a deeper \u201cdarker\u201d side of her.She shared her excitement over the matter and even talked about having qualms over whether the fans would like it or not. \u201cThe world has come to know me as this fairly soft-spoken, buttoned-up girl that dances down the street with ribbons in her hair, and I totally am that, but I also can be angry and anxious as well,\u201d she shared.The album consists of a total of 14 songs, and with it, the artist hopes to \u201clet out\u201d all of the emotions that she usually keeps hidden due to her personality. She also shared that, \u201cI think with this album, I just want to let them out a little bit. I wanted to show the world the rest of me\u201d.<\/p>\n

She also shared which song from her new album is her favourite, sharing that \u2018Sabatoge\u2019 was the song she used to represent anxiety.She shared that the song is a balance of poised and correct, as well as chaos, as the song consists of both a beautiful piano ballad, as well as content that represents the \u201cabsolute mess\u201d on the inside.<\/p>\n
