Kirby Center<\/p>\n<div id=\"content\">&#13;<\/p>\n<p>WILKES-BARRE \u2014 Tickets are on sale now for the 3rd annual Luzerne County Arts &amp; Entertainment Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre.<\/p>\n<p>The event will include an optional VIP pre-show mixer with food and refreshments in the Kirby Center lobby from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and an awards-style event ceremony in the theater from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets may be purchased for the VIP party and induction ceremony, or for just the induction ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The induction ceremony will include live musical performances by some of the 2025 inductees. Expected to perform are Andrea Bogusko, Matt Rogers, Joe &amp; John Stanky, the Leer Brothers and the Great Rock Scare.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tickets for the VIP mixer and induction ceremony are $65 \u2014 doors will open at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tickets for the induction ceremony only are $30 \u2014 doors will open at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>All tickets are available at the F.M. Her business sense, understanding of leatherworks, and cultural foresight made her one of the most powerful women in the world of fashion design.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Niccolo Cortiglia \u2013 The painter who crafted likenesses of politicians, public figures, and community leaders. In addition to his own impressive output, he taught some of Luzerne County\u2019s greatest artists through his one-man art school in Wilkes-Barre.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bob Heim \u2013 The cartoonist, illustrator, and journalist with a charming sense of humor. His knack for finding the quirks in each new project is legendary, a fitting complement to his status as one of Luzerne County\u2019s most fascinating artistic figures.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Lyman H. Howe \u2013 The pioneering, traveling filmmaker who outpaced the ambition of his moviemaking peers. His turn-of-the-century achievements include the use of synchronized sound, filming in an airplane, and documenting military and political history.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Marion Lorne \u2013 The Emmy-winning actress who is most remembered for her portrayal of Aunt Clara in \u201cBewitched.\u201d Besides her famous television work, she acted in films and theatre productions for seven decades in both the United States and England.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Rose O\u2019Neill \u2013 The artist who created the Kewpie characters and became one of the earliest female cartoonists to achieve national recognition and acclaim. The group\u2019s musical excellence and brilliant promotional backing took them to the peak of local popularity in the 1980s.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Florence Foster Jenkins \u2013 The so-called \u201cworld\u2019s worst opera singer\u201d with a Carnegie Hall performance and fascinating life story to her name. Before a string of health issues dashed her genuine musical ambitions, Jenkins performed as a child prodigy pianist.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Leer Brothers Band \u2013 The supergroup that sprouted from some of the area\u2019s most popular bands of the 1960s. The ensembles they have led \u2013 the Cadets and the Coal Miners, respectively \u2013 are staples of the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Alan K. Stout \u2013 The music journalist and radio host with an unrivaled dedication to local artists and entertainers. Through his work in the media and as an event organizer, he has platformed Luzerne County\u2019s finest alongside some of the world\u2019s biggest acts.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Paul Pringle, a native of Wilkes-Barre, will receive the \u201cDistinguished Achievement Award.\u201d Pringle is a Los Angeles Times reporter who specializes in investigating corruption. He won the Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting with colleagues Matt Hamilton and Harriet Ryan in 2019, was a finalist in 2009 and a member of reporting teams that won Pulitzer Prizes in 2004 and 2011.
