As Russell Westbrook continues to wait to find an NBA team to play for next season, he has kept himself busy by making a cameo appearance in Ciara’s new music video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the video<\/a> for “Dance with Me” featuring Tyga, Westbrook shows up at the 2:00 mark sitting next to Ciara and dancing in front of Randy’s Donuts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The location has special meaning for Westbrook, who is from Long Beach, California. Randy’s Donuts, an iconic donut shop that has been featured in several movies<\/a>, is located in nearby Inglewood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In an Instagram Stories post after the video was released, Ciara thanked Westbrook for “bringing your rockstar energy” and wrote she was “forever grateful.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The song is featured on Ciara’s new album CiCi<\/em> that was released on Friday. It marks her eighth studio album and first since 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Westbrook is no stranger to music videos, having previously appeared with LeBron James in Nas’ “Brunch on Sundays” in 2021. He also appeared onstage<\/a> with Kendrick Lamar during the rap superstar’s concert at the Kia Forum in June 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The nine-time All-Star spent last season with the Denver Nuggets. He became a free agent in June after declining<\/a> his $3.5 million player option.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
