Kate\u2019s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, wound up alleging<\/a> that Collin had been \u201ccaged\u201d at Fairmount and that he\u2019d called his mom \u201cabusive\u201d \u2014 which Kate firmly denied<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Collin also claimed that his mom drove a \u201csocial barrier\u201d between him and his siblings when he was sent away.<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Kate did not participate in the Vice series, nor did she respond to BuzzFeed\u2019s request for comment at the time. However, she has previously denied any claims of abuse<\/a>, stating in 2016 that while she\u2019d been \u201cinvestigated many times,\u201d the claims were \u201calways unfounded.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In Kate\u2019s video<\/a>, captioned \u201cKitchen Talk and Tips,\u201d the mom of eight tidied her kitchen while detailing her busy day at work as a pediatric nurse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kate recently revealed that her time on reality TV hasn\u2019t provided her with enough money to handle providing for her kids and court-related costs. She wrote in a TikTok comment<\/a>, \u201cProviding for 8 kids, college funds which I am proud to say covered all of their college and more and LAWYERS. Sickening but I was drug into court constantly and that costs A TON. Sad bc my kids could have a lot more saved and I could have a retirement saved if it weren\u2019t for lawyers. It\u2019s okay. I\u2019m helping other families and I feel needed and I enjoy helping!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
