The typically hilarious antics of \u201cIt\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia<\/a>\u201d are no less hilarious in the latest season finale.<\/p>\n But the episode sounds a mournful note, too.<\/p>\n Lynne Marie Stewart<\/a>, who for 20 years played Bonnie Kelly<\/a>, Charlie Kelly\u2019s<\/a> (Charlie Day) mother<\/a> on the show, makes an appearance in the episode, filmed before her February death<\/a> at 78.<\/p>\n The \u201cGolden Bachelor\u201d-themed finale of season 17 sees Danny DeVito<\/a>\u2019s Frank Reynolds<\/a> pick a potential mate.<\/p>\n In the episode, titled \u201cThe Golden Bachelor Live<\/a>,\u201d which is dedicated to Stewart, the eternally cheerful, sweet Bonnie<\/a> is brought in as a last-minute \u201cwildcard\u201d addition to the reality show within the episode. The comedy series started out on FX before moving to FXX, and now airs on both channels and streams on Hulu.<\/p>\n But that isn\u2019t the only sentimental moment in the season 17 finale.<\/p>\n Carol Kane<\/a>, Danny DeVito\u2019s co-star from \u201cTaxi<\/a>,\u201d also makes an appearance as Sam, one of the women on \u201cThe Golden Bachelor.\u201d<\/p>\n Kane played Simka Dahblitz-Gravas<\/a>, girlfriend and eventual wife of Andy Kaufman<\/a>\u2019s mechanic Latka Gravas<\/a>, on \u201cTaxi<\/a>\u201d from 1980 to 1983.<\/p>\n
