He reportedly told a fan he was on his way to a party before placing a traffic cone on his head.<\/p>\n<p>A public information officer told Page Six Thursday that multiple witnesses notified the Los Angeles Police Department, who arrived around 5:50 a.m local time \u2014 after which, they told us, the rapper allegedly \u201ccharged\u201d at the officers and was \u201ctaken into custody\u201d and \u201ctransported to a local hospital for a possible overdose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An insider\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pop-culture\/pop-culture-news\/lil-nas-x-arrested-wandering-naked-los-angeles-street-charging-officer-rcna226398\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told NBC News<\/a>\u00a0that the rapper \u2014 whose given name is Montero Lamar Hill \u2014 <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/21\/celebrity-news\/lil-nas-x-allegedly-punched-cop-in-the-face-during-bizarre-near-naked-outburst-that-led-to-arrest\/\">punched an officer twice in the face<\/a> during the encounter, leading to an arrest for misdemeanor battery on a police officer. <\/p>\n<p>According to TMZ, bystanders had reported to police that they saw a nude man walking down the legendary boulevard ahead of his arrest.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>In the new footage, he was seen singing lyrics from Kanye West\u2019s \u201cMonster.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Records obtained by Page Six show the rapper was incarcerated throughout the weekend at Van Nuys Jail.  <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Records obtained by Page Six show that Hill was booked in Los Angeles at 11:22 a.m. and was being <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/22\/celebrity-news\/lil-nas-x-stuck-in-jail-for-the-weekend-following-bizarre-near-naked-meltdown\/\">held at Van Nuys Jail<\/a> throughout the weekend. <\/p>\n<p>In the hours leading up to the incident, the rapper was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/22\/celebrity-news\/shirtless-lil-nas-x-seen-waltzing-through-la-hotel-hours-before-nearly-nude-arrest\/\">captured on surveillance camera footage<\/a> at the Short Stories Hotel \u2014 where he was reportedly not a guest. <\/p>\n<p>In the footage obtained by TMZ Friday, Hill was seen around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday roaming the grounds of the facility. In one video, he wore a robe with cowboy boots and carried a tambourine while singing. <\/p>\n<p>In another post, Lil Nas X captioned a selfie, \u00a0\u201cOH NO sHES GONE MAD!
