Deftones<\/a> debuted several new songs from their new album \u2018Private Music<\/a>\u2018 as they kicked off their North American tour. See the footage below.<\/p>\n The band performed in Vancouver on Friday (August 22), marking the first stop on their North American tour<\/a>, which will see them play shows in Edmonton, Minneapolis, Baltimore and more, alongside Phantogram<\/a>,\u00a0IDLES<\/a> and The Barbarians Of California. Visit here<\/a> to purchase any remaining tickets.<\/p>\n The gig took place the same day as the release of \u2018Private Music\u2019, their first LP in five years, which follows on from 2020\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Ohms\u2019<\/a>. To celebrate, they gave album tracks \u2018my mind is a mountain<\/a>\u2018, \u2018infinite source\u2019 and \u2018milk of the madonna<\/a>\u2018 their first-ever live performance.<\/p>\n They also paid tribute to Brent Hinds of Mastodon<\/a>, who died in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday (August 20), aged 51<\/a>. \u201cI dedicate this song to a very dear friend, Mr Brent Hinds,\u201d frontman Chino Moreno told the crowd, before playing their 2012 track \u2018Entombed\u2019.<\/p>\n Check out clips from the concert below.<\/p>\n
