\u201cTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/a>\u201d is getting another week in theaters after the 1990 classic scored $3.3 million at the box office.<\/p>\n

This means that the movie, which had returned to theaters Aug. 15 for its 35th anniversary, will now stay in select theaters through Thursday, Aug. 28, Fathom Entertainment<\/a> says.<\/p>\n

These 35th anniversary screenings<\/a> of \u201cTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles\u201d have made the movie Fathom\u2019s highest-grossing repertory film of the year.<\/p>\n

Originally released by New Line Cinema, \u201cTMNT,\u201d directed by Steve Barron, grossed more than $135 million after its March 1990 release, topping the box office.<\/p>\n
