A local resort is bringing back its country music weekend.<\/p>\n

The Peek\u2019n Peak Resort in Clymer, New York, is hosting a country-themed weekend with live music, country buffets and outdoor entertainment.<\/p>\n

Give yourself extra time getting to Tall Ships Erie: officials <\/a><\/p>\n

Starting Friday, two country artists will take the stage at 6:00 p.m. and 10 p.m., with the Chris Higbee Band headlining on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and Zane Thomas, the resort\u2019s marketing coordinator, said he expects a big turnout.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re hoping for 1000-plus. That\u2019s really the goal, but more than that is awesome, but anyone who wants to come out, we\u2019re happy to have,\u201d said Thomas. \u201cThis is the country music event of the summer. You\u2019re not going to find more country music in one spot, in one weekend, anywhere else.\u201d<\/p>\n
