Jack Antonoff<\/span> today released the soundtrack for Ethan Coen\u2019s Honey Don\u2019t!, a dark comedy which stars his wife, Margaret Qualley, along with Aubrey Plaza<\/a> and Chris Evans.<\/a> It\u2019s the first time the 11-time Grammy winner has worked on music for a film in which his wife appears. The soundtrack was released via his Shadow Of The City Label with Dirty Hit.<\/p>\n The soundtrack blends a Carter Burwell<\/a> score with tracks produced by Antonoff, including a new recording by Brittany Howard<\/a>; a cast performance by Qualley, Plaza and Talia Ryder; and original songs by Lace Manhattan and Dixie Normus, the musical alter egos of Qualley and Ryder.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n The album features Howard\u2019s cover of The Animals<\/a>\u2019 1965 classic \u201cWe Gotta Get Out of This Place,\u201d which was voted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2011. The legendary team of Barry Mann<\/a> & Cynthia Weil <\/a>wrote the timeless song. It also features the cast\u2019s version of the 1956 Carl Perkins<\/a> classic that gave the film its title.<\/p>\n Qualley and Antonoff were married in August 2023. Qualley is the subject of \u201cMargaret,\u201d a love song from Lana Del Rey<\/a>\u2019s 2023 album Did You Know That There\u2019s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. Del Rey and Antonoff co-wrote and co-produced the song, which was the last song written for the album.<\/p>\n Burwell is a three-time Oscar nominee for best original score for Carol (2015), Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) and The Banshees of Inisherin (2022).<\/p>\n Music has played a key role in several previous films directed by Coen (in tandem with his brother, Joel).
