Norman Reedus<\/strong><\/a> and ex Helena Christensen<\/strong>\u2019s son, Mingus Reedus, reportedly made a shocking comment one day after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.<\/p>\n

According to The celebrity.land<\/em><\/a>, Mingus, 25, was walking outside of his New York City apartment on Sunday, August 24, when he said, \u201cYou want to watch me kill myself?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mingus was wearing the same green shorts and black T-shirt he had on during his court appearance on Saturday, August 23, and was carrying his cat in a bag. While exiting the courtroom on Saturday, Mingus called out a nearby reporter, who he referred to as \u201cugly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> confirmed on Saturday that Mingus was taken into police custody after an alleged assault. He is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, August 26. TMZ<\/em> reported that Mingus was charged with reckless physical injury, aggravated harassment and second-degree harassment and pleaded not guilty to all charges.<\/p>\n

Mingus, 25, was reportedly charged with reckless physical injury, aggravated harassment and second-degree harassment, according to court records viewed by TMZ. Mingus pleaded not guilty to all counts. Mingus\u2019 attorney Priya Chaudhry responded to the accusations in a statement shared with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mingus\u2019 attorney Priya Chaudhry<\/strong> claimed on Saturday that he was charged with misdemeanors that \u201cspeak volumes, and much louder than the unsupported prosecutor\u2019s in-court comments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEqually important, the judge released Mingus on his own recognizance, with neither bail nor supervision,\u201d Chaudhry said in a statement to TMZ<\/em>. \u201cThat significant judicial decision amplifies the volume. Mingus is presumed innocent and has pleaded not guilty. As the facts emerge, his innocence will become clear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> reached out for comment following Mingus\u2019 arrest. Norman and Christensen, both 56, have not publicly addressed the situation.<\/p>\n

In September 2021, Mingus was arrested for assaulting an unidentified woman in New York City. Mingus claimed to the New York Daily News<\/em> that the alleged victim and her friends were drunk and \u201cswarmed out,\u201d which led him to throw \u201chis arm out\u201d in defense.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tNorman Reedus and Helena Christensen\u2019s son, Mingus Reedus, has been arrested and charged with assault for a second time. Mingus, 25, was taken into custody around 8:40 a.m. local time on Saturday, August 23, the New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to Us Weekly. He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and assault. Authorities [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mingus pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to five counseling sessions in relation to the incident, per The Sun.<\/em> Attorney Isabelle Kirshner<\/strong> told People<\/em> at the time that the charges were \u201cbaseless,\u201d alleging that Mingus \u201cwas the victim in this incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with Mingus, Reedus shares daughter Nova, 6,<\/a> with partner Diane Kruger<\/strong>. The Walking Dead<\/em> actor and Christensen were together<\/a> from 1998 to 2003.<\/p>\n
