Savannah Guthrie<\/strong> and Jenna Bush Hager<\/strong> were acting more like frenemies as they discussed their weddings on Today With Jenna & Friends<\/em> <\/a>on the Wednesday, August 20, episode of the morning show.<\/p>\n

When Hager, 43, brought up her May 10, 2008, wedding to Henry Hager<\/strong> in Texas Hill Country, Guthrie, 53, pointed out that she wasn\u2019t a guest, but remembered being in Crawford, Texas, that weekend. (She has previously revealed she covered<\/a> it as a reporter for NBC.)<\/p>\n

Then it was Guthrie\u2019s turn to describe her March 15, 2014, nuptials to Michael Feldman<\/strong> in Tucson, Arizona. \u201cI also wasn\u2019t invited,\u201d Hager interrupted.<\/p>\n

\u201cOK, well. That\u2019s weird,\u201d a visibly exasperated Guthrie said, smiling widely.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she claims we weren\u2019t friends, but\u2026\u201d Hager, who has worked alongside her pal since Guthrie joined the Today<\/em> team in 2011, added.<\/p>\n

Guthrie responded, \u201cNo, we were friends, but it was a small wedding. We can\u2019t do this again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve never done our beefs on the show,\u201d Hager added.<\/p>\n

If they both got married today, Guthrie continued,\u00a0 \u201cwe would be each other\u2019s bridesmaids. We\u2019re our kids\u2019 godmothers<\/a>,\u201d to which Hager nodded, \u201c100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s done,\u201d Guthrie said.<\/p>\n

Despite Hager\u2019s claim, the two have had this same argument on-air before.<\/p>\n

Back in 2019, she gave Guthrie a hard time over the fact that she wasn\u2019t invited because they were just \u201cwork friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Guthrie insisted, \u201cIf I had known that you would have become one of my lifelong best friends, then I would have invited you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
