The late Tristan Rogers\u2019 final performance is still to come.<\/p>\n
CBS on Monday announced that Rogers will make his last appearance as The Young & the Restless\u2019<\/em> Colin Atkinson on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 12:30 pm.<\/p>\n More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n The announcement was made by Rogers\u2019 Y&R<\/em> co-star, Jess Walton (aka Jill), in a video shared to social media.<\/p>\n \u201cTristan Rogers was a respected member of the soap opera community, and he was a beloved member of The Young & The Restless<\/em>\u00a0family,\u201d her tribute begins. \u201cI had the pleasure of being his scene partner for many years. I\u00a0adored\u00a0working with him.\u201d<\/p>\n Her kind words precede a classic Colin and Jill scene. Meanwhile, in reference to the scene at hand, the caption for the post reads: \u201cWe are reminded of the lasting impact Tristan brought to our show, both on and off screen. He will forever be missed.\u201d<\/p>\n Rogers died Aug. 15 at the age of 79, just one month after the Daytime Emmy winner announced that he\u2019d been diagnosed with lung cancer.
