In reality, the nightmare situation was secretly their next relationship test. Contestants were led to a campsite that was scattered with horse poop and swarming with bugs. They were tasked with assembling their own tents, building fires, and surviving Kat\u2019s bug phobia along with a slew of other challenges. Meanwhile, their every move was being watched by a world renowned relationship therapist who would judge and select the winning couple.<\/p>\n
Some pairs, like *checks notes<\/em>* everyone aside from Kat and Dale, found camping easier than others. But while Kat was having an anxiety attack over creepy crawlers, Dale did his best to care for and calm her. Before the night got too dangerous, Jesse rescued the couples, brought them back to the resort, and revealed the twist. The next morning, the relationship therapist delivered her findings, deemed the platonic couples Platonic, questioned Alexe and Andrew\u2019s chemistry, asked if Bailey and Jeremy were on the same page, and said largely positive things about Kat\/Dale and Jess\/Spencer.
