There have been plenty of videos this year of crowds getting rowdy at country music concerts, and at least one singer \u2014 Braxton Keith \u2014 has had his fill of the behavior. <\/p>\n
The 25-year-old country crooner from Texas apparently reached his boiling point during a show in Oklahoma heading into the weekend. Video on TikTok showed Keith stop his show and lecture the crowd.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow most of y\u2019all are behaving yourselves,\u201d he said. \u201cBut there\u2019s a bunch of people up here that are having a good time, and then there\u2019s a bunch of beer throwing,\u201d he said as fans cheered.<\/p>\n
But Keith was clearly not in the mood for the cheering.<\/p>\n
\u201cListen. Calm down,\u201d he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t come to and of y\u2019all\u2019s job and do anything like that to y\u2019all. So until you all can learn some concert etiquette, my name is Braxton Keith, thank y\u2019all for coming to Ardmore, Oklahoma tonight.\u201d <\/p>\n
He then stepped away from the mic and exited the stage. <\/p>\n

Parade noted that some fans were confused by the move<\/b><\/a>, and in others videos they can be heard trying to figure out what just took place.<\/p>\n \u201cI missed it,\u201d Parade said one fan can be heard saying. \u201cWhat happened? He\u2019s leaving. Don\u2019t cheer. He\u2019s leaving. Wait, what?\u201d<\/p>\n In a year when beers flying out of the crowd and connecting with singers onstage and fans charging live performance has become all too common, social media had Keith\u2019s back on his decision to pull the plug on his show mid-way through.<\/p>\n \u201cNah he\u2019s so valid for that,\u201d Kaley Elliott commented on the video. <\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t gotten into Braxton\u2019s music, but he does have my respect,\u201d another wrote. \u201cIf you want to throw beer, go to a Gavin Adcock or Treaty Oak Revival show. And honestly, who would want to throw beer after paying those prices for them?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s not wrong,\u201d Jacob Holly wrote. \u201cThe Gavin Adcock concert mentality only goes at Gavin\u2019s shows. Other artists aren\u2019t going to put up with that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cGood for him,\u201d another wrote. \u201cThe disrespect of this generation has gotten absolutely out of control.\u201d<\/p>\n There were others, though, who thought things could have been handled better.<\/p>\n \u201cHow about giving a warning first,\u201d one person wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s not fair to the fans that acted right.
