MEGHAN’S nauseating new Netflix show is another example of the Sussexes “taking a dig” at the Royal Family, an expert has said.<\/p>\n

In the second series<\/a> of “With love, Meghan”, the Duchess of Sussex<\/a>, 44, opens up about her time in the UK and her marriage to “H”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The latest episodes, which feature more celebrity guests, also look at Meghan and Harry’s wedding, as well as her time as a working royal.<\/p>\n

The show was\u00a0renewed for a second run<\/a>\u00a0after the first season dropped in March, despite\u00a0mixed reviews from critics and fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meghan had\u00a0<\/span><\/span>teased the cringey episodes with a trailer<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>earlier this month, in which she said she loved “finding ways to show she cares”.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the fourth episode, she risks reigniting a royal row after appearing to refer to her infamous claim she was forced to wear neutral colours.<\/p>\n

Meg, possibly in a nod to the furore over her clothes while a working royal, said: \u201cYes existentially I am a neutral person.\u201d<\/p>\n

Royal expert Phil Dampier slammed the latest series as another opportunity to “have a dig” at the Royal Family.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “But certainly, Megan, I think, is doing her own thing, and this new Netflix series is evidence of that.<\/p>\n

“There’s no sign of Harry in this program… maybe he has bigger fish to fry.<\/p>\n

“To spice it up a bit, Megan starts talking a little bit about her time in the royal family.<\/p>\n

“She drops a few things here and there and talks about her time in the UK.<\/p>\n

“I think if there’s any opportunity for them to have another dig, they will use it – even if it’s in a more subtle way. <\/p>\n

“I think they’ve exhausted their ammunition, in terms of Harry’s Book ‘Spare’, the Oprah Winfrey<\/span> interview and the six-part Netflix series. <\/p>\n

Meghan’s trying to ‘wash her reputation’ but cringe new Netflix trailer ‘is the exact same recipe as first season flop’<\/span><\/div>\n

“I think they’ve done about as much damage as they can.”<\/p>\n

Prince\u00a0<\/span>Harry<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>does not appear in any of the show’s new episodes, featuring only in two photographs.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Meghan references her husband several times, including one scene where she shows off the Duke’s hypocritical 40th present.<\/p>\n

She proudly held up a blue baseball cap she made for her hubby with the initials PH40.<\/p>\n

The PH refers to his royal title, Prince<\/span> Harry, despite the fact the pair stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.<\/p>\n

Noting Harry’s absence, Royal biographer Phil said that the series was a continuation of Meg’s “self-promotion”.<\/p>\n

He added: “The first series was described as boring and vapid and an exercise in narcissism.<\/p>\n

“But seemingly Netflix are determined to go ahead with it. It’s very much a commercial tie-up.<\/p>\n

“Megan is determined to plough on with this Cate Blanchett-style lifestyle… this promotion of herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Harry and Meghan left the royal family, they cited the fact they wanted their children to grow up where they had privacy.<\/p>\n

“I think some people had some sympathy with that, but they’ve invaded their own privacy with their books and films so much.<\/p>\n

“They still talk about their own private lives, and slowly introducing the children, first of all, not showing their faces.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s only a matter of time before they show their faces, when it suits<\/span> them to use their family and details about their private life<\/p>\n

“Clearly they will do. I think that’s a bit of hypocrisy there.”<\/p>\n

The second series premiered two weeks after Harry and Meghan announced a watered-down deal with the streaming giant Netflix.<\/p>\n

They signed a “multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects”, instead of a reported $100million contract five years ago.<\/p>\n

In the seventh episode, Meg appeared with pal Heather Dorak on a day trip to Malibu to take pottery and cocktail classes.<\/p>\n

She devoted around four minutes on how to pack a bag, and revealed she likes to take “things that bring me joy”.<\/p>\n

In the scene, she holds up a picture frame showing photos of Harry with his family.<\/p>\n

Meghan also revealed that it was Harry who first said “I love you”<\/a> between the pair, blushing as she remembered the moment.<\/p>\n

In the third episode, Queen Eye star Tan\u00a0France\u00a0joins Meghan and before he arrives she wraps a set of\u00a0books\u00a0including her own book The Bench as gifts for his children.<\/p>\n

She tells Tan how she “always wanted to be a mum\u201d and claims she wanted to buy real nappies for her dolls when she was a child.<\/p>\n

When then asked by her guest whether there was a moment when she realised she had fallen in love with Harry, Meghan said: “that was our third date”, when the pair camped in Botswana for five days.<\/p>\n

She said: “You really get to know someone when you are in a little tent together and there\u2019s what is that out there – ‘is\u00a0that an elephant are we going to be safe?’<\/p>\n

In episode six – with Michelin star chef Clare Smyth – she opened up on her 2018 wedding to Harry in Windsor.<\/p>\n

While preparing a dish Meg says to her guest:\u00a0\u201cMakes me think of our wedding venue.<\/p>\n

“We had the map where everything was sourced and really wanted people to appreciate where every ingredient was coming from.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean that was the most delicious meal. Everyone still talks about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Photos also revealed there were reception tables called ‘Cilantro’ and ‘Coriander’ for Brits and Americans.<\/p>\n

Clare goes on to reveal she cooked at Harry and Meghan’s anniversary in an old chapel.<\/p>\n

Joking about the different\u00a0cross-Atlantic names for food items Meg said: “My kids will say a little bit of both but never\u00a0cooking\u00a0terms because I guess papa is not cooking as much.<\/p>\n

“They both say zebra instead of zee-bra.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking again about the language barrier, Meg said: \u201cJust grab a knife to chop some erbs.<\/p>\n

“My husband always laughs when I say erbs. He\u2019s like \u2018herbs\u2019 he\u2019s like \u2018it\u2019s so American, erbs, erbs\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

They also discussed the wedding menu revealing they had braised lamb and fried chicken at the wedding afterparty for \u2018late night bites\u2019<\/p>\n

Clare said they have kept the fried chicken as an ‘off menu item at Core.<\/p>\n

Meg said \u201cI love that we have created something off menu at Core. You know we are done. If that\u2019s my claim to fame I\u2019m thrilled.\u201d<\/p>\n

And she gave a little curtsy\u00a0in celebration.<\/p>\n

It also emerged that Meghan drew the menu and Clare told her \u201c you had it all drawn and it was beautiful, stunning\u201d.<\/p>\n

The pair posed with Harry for photo which\u00a0was captioned \u2018surprise visit\u2019.<\/p>\n

Of the chicken she cooked during night he proposed in 2017, she admits: “I made a horrible chicken that night. I mean truly terrible.<\/p>\n

“When I made a roast chicken for my now-husband I was still having a lot of challenges with the conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit.”<\/p>\n

While preparing a roast chicken she is filmed placing lemon, garlic, rosemary, garlic and butter inside the bird.<\/p>\n

And with her fingers inside the chicken said \u201cWhat a glamorous and ladylike shot… it\u2019s what has to be done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Putting it in the oven she says: \u201cGoodbye darling, thank you for playing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sussexes have been approached for comment.<\/p>\n
