The film, a reimagining of the 2002 animated classic of the same name, tells the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo (Sydney Elizebeth Agudong) who befriends a runaway alien named Stitch, who is being pursued by alien agents and the CIA. The live-action Lilo & Stitch<\/em> was directed by Oscar-nominated Dean Fleischer Camp and also stars Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Cinephobia Releasing makes Brute 1976<\/em> from director Marcel Walz\u2019s (That\u2019s A Wrap, Pretty Boy<\/em>) and writer Joe Knetter (George A. Romero\u2019s Twilight of the Dead<\/em>) available for digital sellthrough and VOD rental release Aug. 26. An homage to 1970s horror cult classics The Texas Chainsaw Massacre<\/em> and The Hills Have Eyes<\/em>, Brute 1976<\/em> takes place in 1976, when Raquel and her girlfriend have car trouble and break down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. At the same time, a group of people are in the desert for a photoshoot. Soon, they stumble upon an abandoned town where a family of masked psychopaths reside. Brute 1976<\/em> stars Adriane McLean (Miracles of Christmas<\/em>), Sarah French (Blind<\/em>), Gigi Gustin (The Retaliators<\/em>), Dazelle Yvette (Garden of Eden<\/em>) and Adam Bucci (\u201cNCIS: Los Angeles\u201d). From production company Neon Noir, Walz, Knetter and Sarah French produced, with Dirk Sch\u00fcrmann and Tobias Sch\u00fcrman serving as executive producers. Robert Kern III (Prey, Creepypasta<\/em>) provided makeup effects, and Marcus Friedlander (The Getback<\/em>) served as director of photography.<\/p>\n

A double feature of the horror flicks Attack of the Corn Zombies<\/em> and Return of the Corn Zombies<\/em> will be released on Blu-ray Disc Aug. 26 from BayView Entertainment via the Allied Vaughn manufacture-on-demand service. In Attack of the Corn Zombies<\/em>, it\u2019s 1969 and infected corn leads to an outbreak of the walking dead in a small Midwest town. With nowhere to run, a group of friends and family must fight their way through the hordes of the undead to survive. In Return of the Corn Zombies<\/em>, in a world ravaged by a corn virus that creates zombies, a band of survivors embarks on a perilous journey. Their destination: Homestead, a sanctuary that promises safety amidst the chaos. Written and co-directed by Steve Herrman and co-directed by Ashley Hefner and Mia Katz, the film stars Lynn Lowry, Magdelena Conway, Mia Katz, Angel Nichole Bradford and Kelsey Livengood.<\/p>\n

Ryo is thrilled by Angie\u2019s beautiful looks while Kaori is thrilled by the hefty reward. Meanwhile, Saeko Nogami of the Metropolitan Police investigates an invention of the biotech company Zoltech \u2014 a dark technology that turns soldiers on the battlefield into superhumans. The 2018 documentary The Ghost of Peter Sellers<\/em>, the 1968 drama Negatives<\/em>, the 1978 comedy The Odd Job<\/em> and the horror collection \u201cHigh Tension: Four Films by Lamberto Bava\u201d are available on Blu-ray Disc Aug. 26 from Severin Films and MVD Entertainment Group.<\/p>\n
