The post Lana Del Rey\u2019s New Album, Stove, Due Out in Early 2026<\/a> appeared first on Consequence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lana Del Rey<\/a> has offered an update on her long-awaited new album, which is now titled Stove<\/em> and set to arrive in early 2026.<\/p>\n The album, which will be Del Rey\u2019s 10th, was first slated for release in September 2024 under the title Lasso<\/em>. It was later renamed The Right Person Will Stay<\/em> with a target date of May 2025. Now, Del Rey has retitled the project once more \u2014 this time as Stove<\/em>. She attributed the latest postponement to her decision to add six more songs to the tracklist. \u201cThey were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time,\u201d she explained in a new interview with W Magazine<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Del Rey also confirmed that the album \u201cwill have a country flair,\u201d telling W<\/em>, \u201cEight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country! I\u2019ve asked myself, \u2018Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?’\u201d She\u2019s been working on the project with legendary country producer Luke Laird along with Jack Antonoff.<\/p>\n Of the songs included on the album, Del Rey said \u201cStars Fell on Alabama\u201d is about her husband, Jeremy Dufrene. \u201cJeremy is the most impactful person in my life. He\u2019s quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time,\u201d Del Rey explained. She went on to relay an anecdote about their \u201cparking-lot time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe spend so much time in parking lots, just reading or talking in the car. Sometimes, in life, you think you\u2019re the only one in the world who loves a particular thing, like sitting in an empty Macy\u2019s or Home Depot parking lot.
