Carly Pearce<\/a><\/strong> is opening up on how she met her new boyfriend, Jordan Karcher<\/a>, sharing that she is \u201chappier than ever\u201d with the dog rescue advocate and founder of\u00a0Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 35-year-old country superstar joined Bunnie XO<\/a> on The Dumb Blonde Podcast<\/a> to reflect on her journey from \u201cEvery Little Thing\u201d to her latest album, hummingbird<\/em>. She candidly discussed her experiences with OCD, anxiety, and recurrent pericarditis, while also opening up about her divorce from country hitmaker Michael Ray and how she met her new boyfriend, Jordan Karcher.<\/p>\n Pearce revealed that she and Karcher met on Raya<\/a>, a private, membership-based dating app known for connecting creative professionals, celebrities, and high-profile individuals. The GRAMMY Award-winner shared that their relationship is still \u201cnewer,\u201d she and Karcher have been together for about six months, but emphasized that they are \u201cserious\u201d about their love for each other.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah we\u2019re serious. The stigmas that people put on women, I was like, I\u2019m 35, I\u2019m never going to meet somebody. And it\u2019s like, oh, it\u2019s so funny. I am happier than ever,\u201d Pearce, whose real name is Carly Cristyne Slusser, explained. \u201cAnd I met him on a dating app, Raya, girl. I just didn\u2019t think you could meet a real person on Raya, I don\u2019t know\u2026 I just felt like, how am I going to be able to like meet somebody that\u2019s aligned with me? He\u2019s not in any kind of entertainment, which is the best thing ever. Later that year, in November, Pearce\u00a0confirmed she was dating her former drummer<\/a>, BC Taylor, though the two eventually parted ways amicably.<\/p>\n Pearce also addressed the criticisms she\u2019s received from internet trolls for \u201cdating too many people,\u201d explaining, \u201cI\u2019m in this season of my life where I\u2019m like, I don\u2019t care what you think about me, because for so long it was like, well, everybody thinks I\u2019m dating too many people and there\u2019s something wrong with me because my relationship didn\u2019t work. And it\u2019s like, absolutely not.
