Lana Del Rey<\/a> has changed the name of her upcoming album to \u2018Stove\u2019, and seemingly won\u2019t be releasing it until 2026.<\/p>\n The \u2018Summertime Sadness\u2019 icon first announced details of the follow up to 2023\u2019s \u2018Did You Know That There\u2019s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd\u2019<\/a>\u00a0last year, sharing that it would see her hone in on a country sound<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the time since, the highly-anticipated 10th album has undergone some changes \u2013 being renamed from \u2018Lasso\u2019 to \u2018The Right Person Will Stay\u2019<\/a>, and having the expected release date pushed back from May 2025 to September 2025.<\/p>\n Now, Del Rey has shared more insight into the record, telling W<\/em><\/a> that she has now decided to call it \u2018Stove\u2019, and that it will most \u201clikely be released at the end of January\u201d 2026.<\/p>\n According to the interview, the album was set to arrive earlier this spring, but had the release date pushed back when the singer decided to add six more songs to the tracklist.<\/p>\n Speaking of the new additions, she told the outlet: \u201cThey were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time\u201d. She also shared insight into the overarching sound of album 10, saying that \u201cthe majority of the album will have a country flair.\u201d<\/p>\n When she first announced the album, it was widely reported that she would lean into a country direction, however that was then thrown into question when she suggested that she was going to tone that down for a \u201cmore Southern gothic\u201d approach<\/a>.<\/p>\n
