Hours after Swift, 35, confirmed via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Tuesday, August 26, that she is engaged<\/span><\/a>, Kloss, 33, subtly reacted to the news by liking the post.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married \ud83e\udde8,\u201d Swift\u2019s caption read when confirming her new relationship status.<\/p>\n

Swift and Kloss\u2019 friendship stems back to January 2012 when the \u201cShake It Off\u201d singer gave a shoutout to the supermodel in an interview.<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce, both 35, announced the exciting news\u00a0via Instagram on Tuesday, August 26, sharing photos from the garden proposal. One photo showed Kelce kneeling in front of Swift with a ring box in one hand as she cradled his face, while another snap showed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI love Karlie Kloss,\u201d Swift said during her Vogue<\/i> cover story at the time. \u201cI want to bake cookies with her!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the years that followed, Kloss was known as a member of Swift\u2019s \u201csquad\u201d and even costarred in the music video for \u201cBad Blood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the years, however, the pair were spotted together less frequently.<\/p>\n

Kloss did turn heads in August 2023 when she attended Swift\u2019s final performance of the Eras<\/i> Tour<\/span><\/a>\u2019s first U.S. leg in Los Angeles. Unlike other celebrity concert attendees, though, the model was spotted in the bleachers rather than the VIP tent.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Yahoo Life<\/span><\/a> one year later, Kloss continued to keep fans guessing when she was asked her thoughts on Swift\u2019s The Tortured Poets Department<\/i> album. Without hesitating, the former Project Runway<\/i><\/span><\/a> host sang her praises.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d say the whole album [is my favorite],\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cI mean, her music is classic.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked to name her all-time favorite song, Kloss replied, \u201cShe\u2019s got so many hits. I definitely love \u2018Shake it Off.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Kloss isn\u2019t the only celebrity \u201cliking\u201d Swift and Kelce\u2019s engagement.<\/p>\n
