NEW ORLEANS (WGNO<\/a>) \u2014 The National Fried Chicken Festival<\/a> announced its musician line-up on Tuesday, Aug. 26.<\/p>\n

The headliners will include country rapper Blanco Brown, R&B singer Lloyd, the rap group Sugarhill Gang, southern soul and R&B singer Tucka as well as the rock, hip-hop and blues band G. Love & Special Sauce.<\/p>\n

Other names set to take the stage include Disko Cowboy, New Orleans rapper Choppa, Shreveport\u2019s Maggie Koerner and hip-hop artist Flagboy Giz.<\/p>\n

Notable local acts include Mu\u00e9velo, Jelly Joseph and Valerie Sassyfras. The DJ\u2019s, Raj Smoove, Captain Charles and others will perform as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis lineup celebrates music that moves people\u2014whether that\u2019s hip-hop, R&B, rock, or soul\u2014while staying true to the cultural heartbeat of New Orleans,\u201d said FCF Executive Producer Cleveland Spears, III. \u201cWith two full days of top-notch entertainment combined with the best fried chicken in the country, FCF 2025 is going to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival will take place Oct. 4 through Oct. 5 on the New Orleans Lakefront.<\/p>\n
