When \u201cNew Heights\u201d returned on Wednesday, August 27, cohost Jason Kelce<\/strong> gave a quick mention of the couple\u2019s milestone. \u201cThere is one gigantic piece of new news that just hit the waves,\u201d he said. \u201cWe did record this podcast on Monday, which is Travis\u2019 one day off. So he is not here to address this himself, but we felt it necessary as a team here at \u2018New Heights\u2019 to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged. The proposal heard \u2018round the world. F*** yeah!\u201d<\/p>\n

Later on, while discussing Swift\u2019s new music, Jason joked that he \u201ccan\u2019t keep a secret to save [his] life\u201d because he gets too \u201cexcited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Travis and Swift, both 35, announced their engagement<\/a> via Instagram on Tuesday, August 26, alongside pics from a romantic photo shoot. The slideshow included a close look at the pop star\u2019s stunning Old Mine brilliant cut engagement ring.<\/p>\n

During the August 13 episode, the Grammy winner recalled asking Travis on their first date what it was like to play against his brother in the 2023 Super Bowl, not realizing that the siblings weren\u2019t ever actually on the field together during a game.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t even look at me. I know now what an insane question that was,\u201d Swift said. \u201cI thought everyone was on the field at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
