Michael Jackson’s son Prince has announced he is engaged<\/a> to his longtime girlfriend Molly after dating for eight years.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old actor and producer shared the happy news on social media<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Posting a carousel of images set to his late father<\/a>‘s 1987 single I Just Can’t Stop Loving You, Prince said he and his partner “have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories” and are now looking forward to the next chapter in their lives.<\/a><\/p>\n

Prince shared a photo of him and Molly kissing as she placed her hand on his chest to display her engagement ring.<\/p>\n

The Instagram post also included images of the couple out and about, including during a hike, on a bike ride and at their graduation, as well as a photo of himself and his bride-to-be with his grandmother Katherine Jackson at Hayvenhurst, the family compound in Encino, California<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Prince’s famous family shared their joy at the news as Taryll Jackson – son of Michael’s brother Tito – wrote, “Congrats!!!”<\/p>\n

He had previously made a rare comment about his love life when he first started dating Molly.<\/p>\n

“I think in everything there’s an important balance. I think that I’m a certain way, and she’s very – I don’t want to say opposite – but complementary in a way that we balance each other out. I’m more aggressive, she’s a little softer,” he told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prince explained the relationship “helps us stay well-rounded” in that she urged him to “see things through a different light.” His engagement comes just weeks after sister Paris Jackson decided to call off her own.<\/p>\n

Michael’s daughter revealed she had got engaged to music producer Justin Long in December after a romantic trip to Paris.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with,” she wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

However, last month Paris confirmed the relationship was over. She addressed speculation all was not well in her personal life after being snapped looking emotional.<\/p>\n

Paris wrote, “those are breakup tears. y’all are fkn reaching again.” Pop star Michael welcomed Paris, 27, and Prince with his second wife Debbie Rowe.<\/p>\n

The late singer also had a son via surrogacy called Bigi, 23, who was formerly known as Blanket. Michael died at the age of 50 in 2009 from a cardiac arrest.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
