{"id":1982372,"date":"2025-08-27T12:28:54","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T12:28:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=1982372"},"modified":"2025-08-27T12:28:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T12:28:54","slug":"cardi-b-allegedly-spit-on-slashed-security-guards-face-with-fingernails-during-violent-fight-testimony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/cardi-b-allegedly-spit-on-slashed-security-guards-face-with-fingernails-during-violent-fight-testimony\/","title":{"rendered":"Cardi B allegedly spit on, slashed security guard&#8217;s face with fingernails during violent fight: testimony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Cardi B allegedly degraded a female security guard during a nasty brawl at a doctor\u2019s office in 2018, the woman testified at a trial in Los Angeles on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Emani Ellis claimed on the stand that the \u201cWAP\u201d rapper \u2014 who was four months <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/04\/08\/cardi-b-confirms-pregnancy-im-finally-free\/\">pregnant at the time<\/a> \u2014 spit on her, called her racist names and cut her cheek with her fingernail.<\/p>\n<p>The security guard approached Cardi B with her phone while at an obstetrician\u2019s office, and the woman claimed the \u201cUp\u201d rapper became upset because she thought the guard was trying to out her private visit.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Cardi B is currently in a trial over a civil suit a female security guard filed against her. <span class=\"credit\">Court TV<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The woman, Emani Ellis, alleged Cardi assaulted her at a doctor\u2019s office in 2018. <span class=\"credit\">Court TV<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Ellis denied on the stand using her phone to take pics of Cardi, further alleging, \u201cAfter she heard me say her name, she turned back around and the first thing out of her mouth was \u2026 \u2018Why the f\u2013k you telling people that you see me?,&#8217;\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YWVNrySphTc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to Law and Crime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried to calm her down and assure her that I didn\u2019t tell anyone that I seen her, and she was extremely upset,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<p>Ellis claimed the \u201cBodak Yellow\u201d rapper then threatened to get her fired, belittled her job, \u201cbody-shamed\u201d her, called her \u201cracial slurs\u201d and spit on her. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Ellis claimed that when she recognized Cardi, the rapper became upset because she thought the guard was trying to out her doctor\u2019s visit. <span class=\"credit\">Court TV<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Cardi allegedly began shouting racial slurs at Ellis. <span class=\"credit\">George Napolitano \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The security guard alleged that Cardi at one point took a \u201cswing\u201d at her but did not land the punch. <\/p>\n<p>However, Ellis claimed she eventually had to undergo plastic surgery for the cut she got on her face from the \u201cI Like It\u201d rapper\u2019s inches-long fingernail. She is suing for assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>Page Six has reached out to Cardi\u2019s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Ellis is suing Cardi for assault and battery.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cBodak Yellow\u201d rapper was in the courtroom while Ellis testified. <span class=\"credit\">Court TV<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cLove &amp; Hip Hop\u201d alum was seated inside the courtroom as Ellis testified, sporting a short hairdo and a black blazer. She appeared composed during the trial, as she was surrounded by her lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>Cardi has had legal issues due to her bad temper before.
