Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> revealed having fianc\u00e9e Taylor Swift<\/strong> <\/a>on \u201cNew Heights\u201d proved to be somewhat difficult for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so wrapped [up] in what Tay was saying that I forgot we were trying to interview her,\u201d Travis, 35, explained during the podcast\u2019s Wednesday<\/a>, August 27 episode. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to interview someone that you love. You\u2019re just kinda there to make sure they\u2019re enjoying themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Travis praised his brother and cohost, Jason Kelce<\/strong>, who he said \u201ccrushed it\u201d during the interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire time, Jason\u2019s over here playing Barbara Walters<\/strong>. Keeping the podcast on track,\u201d Travis continued. \u201cEveryone said you were the MVP. Everyone was saying what a great interviewer you are, and honestly, we both claim that this isn\u2019t that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift\u2019s debut appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast did not disappoint. The pop star, 35, joined the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, and his cohost brother, Jason Kelce, during the Wednesday, August 13, episode of the podcast. \u201cThis podcast has done a lot for me,\u201d Swift, 35, said in the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs player explained that \u201cNew Heights\u201d is where the brothers try to \u201chave some fun talking about some cool s***,\u201d but Jason took it to a new level when Swift, 35, made her long-awaited appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cJason actually kept it [focused], asking great questions,\u201d Travis said. \u201cKind of dumbing down some of the stuff Tay was saying \u2014 not necessarily dumbing down \u2014 but kind of just making it more clear to the people who aren\u2019t familiar with the industry. You were killing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift appeared on the August 13 episode to announce her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/em><\/a>. The singer also offered insight into her relationship with Travis. While the couple were all loved up on the podcast, Jason was tasked with keeping the conversation going. (Travis and Swift announced their engagement<\/a> via Instagram two weeks after her podcast appearance<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

While Jason hesitated to give himself props, he praised Swift for being so eloquent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI took away a lot from the interview. I mean, she\u2019s incredibly brilliant. She\u2019s very smart. She\u2019s very funny,\u201d Jason said on Wednesday. \u201cWhen she said you were a human exclamation point, I was like, \u2018God damn, she\u2019s f***ing good with words.\u201d<\/p>\n
