Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal in Hamnet Universal Pictures<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul Mescal<\/a> and Jessie Buckley<\/a>\u2019s new trailer <\/a>for the upcoming film Hamnet, which focuses on William Shakespeare\u2019s wife Agnes\u2019 grief for their 11-year-old son Hamnet, was released last night.<\/p>\n

Directed by Nomadland<\/a> star Chlo\u00e9 Zhao and produced by Steven Spielberg<\/a>, the film is based on the best-selling 2020 novel by Maggie O\u2019Farrell.<\/p>\n

The title promises to show the \u201cuntold story that inspired Shakespeare\u2019s masterpiece\u201d, Hamlet. It also stars<\/a>Emma Watson<\/a> and Joe Alwyn.<\/p>\n

Already, fans of the novel have expressed how pleased they are with what they\u2019ve seen of the production.<\/p>\n
