Donna Kelce<\/strong><\/a> subtly reacted to her son Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s engagement to Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In honor of Travis\u2019 proposal, Donna, 72, quietly tweaked her Facebook<\/a> cover photo on Wednesday, August 27, to composite images of Travis and Swift, both 35, when they were children.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have been together for two years, announced their engagement on Tuesday, August 26.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,\u201d Travis and Swift captioned a joint Instagram post<\/a>, sharing a handful of stunning proposal photos.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tEd Kelce revealed son Travis Kelce and his soon-to-be daughter-in-law Taylor Swift FaceTimed him and Donna Kelce after they got engaged. \u201cThey started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew,\u201d Ed, 74, told local ABC affiliate News 5 Cleveland on Tuesday, August 26, just hours after Travis and Swift, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Travis\u2019 dad, Ed Kelce<\/strong>, later revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end popped the question two weeks earlier in his backyard in Kansas City, Missouri.<\/p>\n

We got time,\u2019\u201d Ed recalled on Tuesday\u2019s episode<\/a> of \u201cThe Jimmy & Nath Show With Emma\u201d podcast. \u201cAs they walked out there, she could see there\u2019s a lot more flowers out there [than usual].\u201d<\/p>\n

There in the garden, Travis got down on one knee and asked Swift for her hand in marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis had these plans to do it, I think, on the next weekend before he took off for Brazil,\u201d Ed said on the podcast, referring to his son\u2019s NFL schedule. \u201cHe was going to make a big production<\/a> out of it. [He] wanted to make it really special.\u201d<\/p>\n

A conversation with Ed and Taylor\u2019s dad, Scott Swift<\/strong>, ultimately inspired Travis to change his proposal plans.<\/p>\n

Swift started dating Travis Kelce, the youngest son of Donna and ex-husband Ed Kelce, in summer 2023. The following September, she went to cheer him on during one of the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 home football games. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI told him the same thing Scott told him, [which was] asking her is what\u2019s going to make it special,\u201d Ed recalled. \u201cThat\u2019s where you do it, you know what I mean? \u2026 Scott adds on, \u2018Just get it done [and] don\u2019t worry about any special date. You\u2019re ready, you got the ring [and] go do it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
