John Malkovich has been cast opposite Vince Vaughn in Bad Monkey Season 2.<\/p>\n
According to Deadline<\/a>, which was first to break the news, Malkovich will play Spencer, the head of a South Florida criminal organization.<\/p>\n More from TVLine<\/strong><\/p>\n As for the premise, executive producer Bill Lawrence previously told TVLine that while they fully intend to adapt the second Andrew Yancy-centric novel,\u00a0Razor Girl, for a future season, Season 2 of the Apple TV+ comedy will tell a wholly original story, with input from author Carl Hiaasen.<\/p>\n \u201cRazor Girl\u00a0is a great novel for people who want to read it, but it\u2019s kind of a break from the characters of the first [book],\u201d Lawrence explained, \u201cand we wanted to have some of the characters from the first season more front and center in the second\u201d \u2014 including\u00a0Natalie Martinez\u2019s Rosa. \u201c[Season 2 is] an original story, but we\u2019re all Carl Hiaasen aficionados \u2014 and, also, Carl consults on the show and has been helping us a ton.\u201d<\/p>\n In other casting news\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n * Hulu\u2019s freshly renewed\u00a0Deli Boys\u00a0has cast Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live, Wednesday) as a series regular in Season 2. Per Deadline<\/a>, he\u2019ll play Jeremiah Paulson, \u201ca wealthy landowner not afraid to break the rules.\u201d<\/p>\n * FROM Season 4 has added Julia Doyle\u00a0(Astrid and Lilly Save the World) as a series regular.
