Divorce<\/a> have surprise released a deluxe version of their debut album \u2018Drive To Goldenhammer\u2019. Check out the emotive new single \u2018Wendolene\u2019 below.<\/p>\n The former NME Cover<\/em> stars<\/a> shared their debut record on March 7 via Gravity\/Capitol. It was recorded at Real World Studios in Wiltshire with producer Catherine Marks (Boygenius<\/a>, Foals<\/a>, Wolf Alice<\/a>).<\/p>\n Now, the band have surprise released a deluxe edition of the album, which features three new songs: \u2018Wendoline\u2019, \u2018Chip\u2019, and \u2018O Calamity\u2019. The latter was shared last month<\/a> as their first new music since the album dropped.<\/p>\n The deluxe version also comes with early demos of the songs featured on the original tracklist, as well as BBC Radio Sessions. The latter includes a live cover of Queen<\/a>\u2018s classic\u00a0 \u2018I Want To Break Free\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cOn our debut album \u2018Drive to Goldenhammer\u2019, we sought to build a makeshift place and home within the songs and each other amidst the transience of our lives on the road over the last few years,\u201d said singer and guitarist Felix Mackenzie-Barrow.<\/p>\n \u201cWith the \u2018Drive to Goldenhammer Deluxe Edition\u2019, along with live versions of some of the album tracks, you\u2019ll hear unreleased songs and demo recordings that landed somewhere on the outskirts of \u2018Goldenhammer\u2019, like \u2018O Calamity\u2019 and \u2018Chip\u2019 or \u2018Pretty Lights and \u2018Tiny Animals\u2019,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Check out the music video for \u2018Windolene\u2019 below.<\/p>\n
