Bon Jovi are set to release their new collaboration album on October 24.<\/p>\n
\nThe rock band have announced that Forever (Legendary Edition), their 14-track collaboration album, will be released in October, while Red, White and Jersey – the record’s lead single – will be released on Friday (29.08.25).<\/p>\n
\nJon Bon Jovi said: “This album is more than just a collection of collaborations, it is an album borne out of necessity. My vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab was a well-documented journey that played out while releasing Forever in June 2024. <\/p>\n
\n“I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigours of touring were still out of reach for me.”<\/p>\n
\nForever (Legendary Edition) features performances from a host of big-name stars, including the likes of James Bay, Robbie Williams, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Avril Lavigne and Bruce Springsteen.<\/p>\n
\nAnd Bon Jovi’s frontman relished working with some of his showbiz pals on the new record.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need. All are great singers, artists, and also just great people. <\/p>\n
\n“The result is an album with a new viewpoint and new spirit – a collaboration album that proves we all get by in this world with a little help from our friends. I feel tremendous joy and gratitude releasing this album and I think it shows in the music. I can say with certainty that there is always something bigger than me, and that\u2019s we.”<\/p>\n
\nBon Jovi previously likened his vocal chord surgery to an athlete suffering an injury.<\/p>\n
\nThe rock icon told NPR in 2024: “I was overusing it.<\/p>\n
\n“Even though I’m trained and I have studied the craft for these 40 years, eventually the body gives out. It’s not dissimilar to being an athlete.”<\/p>\n
\nThe singer also revealed that his recovery wasn’t straightforward.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “The process has been slower than I’d hoped for, but the progress and the process are really doing very well.<\/p>\n
\n“I’m currently able to sing. For me now, the bar is, can I do two and a half hours a night, four nights a week?”<\/p>\n
