The Hunger Games vet Sam Claflin<\/a><\/strong> has a busy rest of the year, as two of his upcoming projects have both received major updates. Before this, Claflin starred in last year\u2019s horror movie Bagman and in The Count of Monte Cristo miniseries.<\/p>\n Prime Video<\/a> has announced that Harlan Coben\u2019s Lazarus series will officially start streaming its six episodes on Wednesday, October 22. In addition, the streamer has also shared photos from the mystery thriller series, featuring the first look at its main cast led by Claflin as Joel Lazarus.<\/p>\n It is based on an original story idea and written by the New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst, who are both serving as executive producers. The cast also includes Bill Nighy as Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, Alexandra Roach as Jenna Lazarus, David Fynn as Seth McGovern, Karla Crome as Bella Catton, and Kate Ashfield as Detective Alison Brown.<\/p>\n \u201cThe show follows Joel Lazarus, who returns home after his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, dies by suicide and begins to have disturbing experiences that can\u2019t be explained,\u201d reads the official logline. \u201cHe quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father\u2019s death and his sister\u2019s murder 25 years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n Besides Lazarus, Claflin will also next be seen in the crime thriller movie All the Devils Are Here, which will make its debut on September 26, in select theaters and on digital platforms. The movie\u2019s trailer has now been released, featuring four criminals who must stay at a remote safe house after a heist.
