However, cops have not confirmed that detail. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Dylan Walsh during the Los Angeles premiere of \u201cThe Lake House\u201d on June 13, 2006. <span class=\"credit\">FilmMagic<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Walsh reportedly suffered a stroke shortly before he crashed his SUV in Rumson, NJ, on Aug. 17. <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As for why Walsh appeared \u201cvery red\u201d and \u201cvery confused\u201d when talking to police after the crash, his rep claimed it was because the \u201cUnforgettable\u201d star and his family had spent the day at the beach.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The Post has reached out to Walsh\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The news that Walsh and his loved ones were <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/20\/entertainment\/dylan-walsh-from-nip-tuck-involved-in-serious-car-crash\/\">involved in a car accident<\/a> first broke last week after the Rumson Police Department told TMZ that the actor had smashed his vehicle into two utility poles.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Walsh\u2019s SUV was reportedly swerved into the opposite lane and slammed into one utility pole before colliding with another. <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The actor, his wife, Leslie Bourque, their children Hudson, 12, and Amelie, 13, and one additional passenger were said to be in the car during the crash. <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Walsh\u2019s SUV was reportedly heading northbound around 5 p.m. local time when it swerved into the opposite lane and slammed into one utility pole before colliding with another.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement confirmed that two of the five individuals in the vehicle at the time of the crash were transported to Riverview Medical Center to get checked out.<\/p>\n<p>Walsh\u2019s rep later addressed the incident and said that everyone involved in the scary collision was recovering.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Walsh at the NYC premiere of \u201cStillwater\u201d on July 26, 2021. <span class=\"credit\">StarPix\/Dave Allocca\/for Focus F<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Walsh\u2019s rep said that everyone involved in the collision was recovering. <span class=\"credit\">TMZ<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The actor, his wife, Leslie Bourque, their children Hudson, 12, and Amelie, 13, and one additional passenger were said to be in the car during the crash.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the weekend, Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident in Rumson,\u201d the rep told The Post. \u201cThankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care,\u201d they continued. \u201cThey would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff of The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Walsh as Dr. Sean McNamara in \u201cNip\/Tuck.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">\u00a9Warner Bros\/courtesy Everett Co<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More recently, however, the police report from the incident revealed that an open cooler bag containing several empty and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/26\/celebrity-news\/nip-tuck-star-dylan-walsh-allegedly-had-open-cans-of-white-claw-in-suv-after-car-crash\/\">open White Claw Hard Seltzer cans<\/a> was found in the \u201cLake House\u201d star\u2019s crashed car following the accident.<\/p>\n<p>A witness also told cops they allegedly heard Walsh\u2019s wife screaming to \u201cget the bag out of the back seat\u201d before police arrived at the scene.
