And the Oscar nominee\u2019s forward thinking led<\/span> to some interesting antics on the set of his new film <\/span>Caught Stealing<\/span>, including spending the night on set in just his underwear.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI had a night where I had to get up early the next day,\u201d Austin exclusively told <\/span>E! News<\/span> at the film\u2019s New York City premiere Aug. 26, \u201cand it seemed like there was a cozy bed that I could sleep in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The 34-year-old joked, \u201cMight as well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But as Austin explained, it\u2019s not as if he was sleeping in an actual apartment where they were filming the <\/span>Darren Aronofsky<\/strong>-directed movie<\/span>, which hits theaters Aug. 29<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe filmed in Brooklyn and it was a sound stage,\u201d he <\/span>noted, \u201cwhich<\/span> is inherently\u2014it feels very fake.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Still, spending all that time in New York City and filming in <\/span>other<\/span> <\/span>outdoor<\/span> locations like the East Village, Coney Island and Brighton Beach meant that the <\/span>Elvis<\/span> actor truly got the full Big Apple experience. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
