She was a force to be reckoned with and showed love that was accepting and given freely. She was the life of the part[y] and my best friend.”<\/p>\n Halterman continued, “I know both our grandparents and friends was there to welcome you home. Please pray for my aunt uncle and cousins but mostly for the babies and for Natalie to be strong.”<\/p>\n To conclude the post, she requested, “Please pray for everyone whom loves her. \ud83d\udc94 For the featured image, Halterman wore a pink shirt while smiling holding a package of cookies. Katie stood behind her in a blue shirt and sunglasses for the snap.<\/p>\n In the comments, Instagram users showered Halterman with words of support. One follower shared, “So sorry for your loss \ud83d\ude22.”<\/p>\n Another wrote, “Oh no Amanda! Yes, cancer sucks!”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, yet another fan commented, “My condolences to you and the family\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffd.”<\/p>\n On Monday, Halterman shared a different photo of her cousin, writing, “Please whisper a prayer for our family as we continue to support Katie Slaton I am so thankful to be allowed to stand by your side.”<\/p>\n Although Halterman didn’t specify Kate’s medical issue, Tammy provided further context in a\u00a0January<\/a>Facebook update<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is my cousin Katie and she is the one we started the\u00a0GoFundMe<\/a>\u00a0for all we\u2019re asking for his prayers or just a tiny donation,\u201d the\u00a01000-Lb Sisters\u00a0star wrote. \u201cAnything helps my family and I are doing what we can but even if it\u2019s a dollar or small miracle on our family does not go on notice.
