THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) – Thomasville city councilors unanimously approved the first reading of a couple of notable items during a council meeting Monday evening.<\/p>\n
The five-member council approved setting up an entertainment district in downtown Thomasville, which would allow businesses to sell alcoholic drinks and permit people to walk around downtown drinking them. <\/p>\n
Before Monday, the city only allowed it for special events, such as First Fridays.<\/p>\n
