Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> star Thomas Skinner <\/a>has reportedly grumbled about not earning as much cash as other celebrities for television appearances and advertisement work.<\/p>\n

The contentious star, 34, shot to prominence on The Apprentice<\/a> in 2019 and failed to win Lord Alan Sugar’s backing, resulting in his dismissal following the ninth challenge.<\/p>\n

The bedding and mattress business proprietor has sparked considerable controversy after his announcement for this year’s Strictly alongside personalities such as Vicky Pattison <\/a>and Love Island<\/a> winner Dani Dyer <\/a>due to his vocal political stance, including his backing of Donald Trump and championing the concept of national pride.<\/p>\n

Thomas has now allegedly voiced his frustration about how fellow celebrities possess “loads of money” in comparison to him, whilst he continues working.<\/p>\n

In a now-removed tweet spotted by The Sun, he wrote: “How do all these celebrities have loads of money? You don’t get bundles of dough for TV or adverts etc (well I don’t)….”, reports Wales Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“But I look on Instagram and they’re always in this gaff or posting in a new motor.<\/p>\n

“I finished me Strictly stuff earlier today and I’m now out in me van delivering mattresses.<\/p>\n

“Do I need to be part of a special club now on the tele that’s gives ya unlimited monies.”<\/p>\n

Devon Live has contacted Thomas’ representatives for comment.<\/p>\n

The father-of-three has previously used social media to respond to the criticism surrounding his Strictly participation.<\/p>\n

He said, “They say don’t read the comments on social media. But I couldn’t help myself.<\/p>\n

“I’ve had absolute pellets all day on my Instagram lost about going on strictly… Have a look at some of these on Instagram …. Why are some people so angry that don’t even know me.”<\/p>\n

He also previously told the Mail, defending a picture with JD Vance, “I’m not right-wing.<\/p>\n

“People are like sheep and just started saying it because I got invited to go to bbq with JD Vance and I posted a picture with him. Who is gonna turn down an opportunity to meet the 2nd most powerful man in the world?”<\/p>\n

He added: “Some people will hate you without ever really knowing you – and that’s okay. I wish them well. We’re all different, and not everyone will see life the same way.<\/p>\n

“If their anger or bitterness has to go somewhere, I’d rather they throw it at me than ruin someone else’s day. I can take it.”<\/p>\n
