After several long years of hiatus, with members enrolled in their mandatory military service, the Kpop powerhouse BTS is finally returning<\/a>.<\/p>\n To prepare the group’s fanbase, known as the ARMY, Trafalgar Releasing<\/a>\u00a0is bringing “BTS Movie Weeks<\/a>” to movie theaters across the country. Four concerts have been specially remastered in 4K and 5.1 surround sound as part of the nationwide cinematic event.<\/p>\n Here’s where you can watch in Illinois.<\/p>\n Four concert films under the “BTS Movie Weeks<\/a>” title will run in 2,000 theaters across 65 countries from Sept. 24 through Oct. 5, 2025.<\/p>\n The members of\u00a0BTS<\/a>\u00a0made their debut in 2013 and include:<\/p>\n BTS is an\u00a0acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan, <\/strong>which literally translates to “Bulletproof Boyscouts<\/strong>.”<\/a> The group later changed the meaning to “Beyond the Scene,” however.<\/p>\n The “BTS Movie Weeks<\/a>” films will be released in 4K on the following schedule:<\/p>\n Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n “BTS Movie Weeks<\/a>” will be showing in 22 Illinois theaters, according to\u00a0btsmovieweeks.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n Marcus Bloomington Cinema + IMAX<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Cinemark Louis Joliet Mall<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Marcus Orland Park Cinema<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Cinemark Seven Bridges and IMAX<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Cinemark Melrose Park and XD<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n AMC Streets of Woodfield 20<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n BTS\u00a0announced on a Weverse livestream in June that the group will be returning in spring 2026 with new music and a world tour, according to USA TODAY<\/a>.
