When Morgan Wallen and Eric Church bought iconic hunting and fishing brand \u201cField & Stream\u201d the duo wanted to celebrate it with a musical festival.<\/p>\n
Thus, the \u201cField & Stream Music Fest,\u201d was born. Sadly though, this year\u2019s event, slated for Oct. 3-5 in Winnsboro, South Carolina has now been cancelled, according to Billboard. <\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, Field & Stream Music Fest has been canceled,\u201d a statement on the festival\u2019s website read. <\/p>\n
Billboard noted that the festival<\/b><\/a> was set to feature some big names like Miranda Lambert, ZZ Top, Bailey Zimmerman, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Riley Green, Ashley McBryde, Ashland Craft and Kameron Marlowe.<\/p>\n Church was also slated to play the festival. <\/p>\n The festival has apparently seen its share of bad luck. Billboard reported that last year\u2019s festival, which was set to feature Lainey Wilson, Church and ZZ Top, was called off due to Hurricane Helene. <\/p>\n Wallen and Church bought Field & Stream earlier last year. <\/p>\n \u201c(Field and Stream) Born in 1871. Reborn in 2024,\u201d Wallen captioned an Instagram video featuring he and Church fishing last year. \u201cThere\u2019s nothin\u2019 I love more than being with friends around a campfire, on a boat or in a deer stand \u2014 and Field & Stream represents all of those to me. Being part of its future is incredible, and we want to keep bringing people together outdoors, makin\u2019 memories, for generations to come \u2013 MW.\u201d<\/p>\n Church also shared a fishing video at the time, and wrote, \u201cI can remember my grandfather kept a few of his favorite Field & Stream magazines on the dash of his truck. That truck took us on hundreds of outdoor adventures and I all but memorized every story and picture on every page. They were my Bible. It is the honor of my life to make sure that legacy carries on.
