The documentary reunites the cast of the beloved show, who share their experiences in exclusive interviews. In the clip, the rapper recalled the moments when he was hired for the role and his romantic scene with a co-star.<\/p>\n The trailer for Degrassi: Whatever it Takes showcased Drake sharing about his first kiss on the set.<\/strong><\/p>\n In the original series, Drake\u2019s character, Jimmy Brooks, shares a passionate kiss with Lauren Collins\u2019 character, Paige Michalchuk. The accompanying documentary shows this scene, and afterward, Drake reflects on the moment with Collins, saying, \u201cShe had to be one of my first kisses for sure. Damn, I never thought about it like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier in the clip, Drake recalled the time when he got hired for the role in the beloved show. He said, \u201cI didn\u2019t have a great time in high school, I just didn\u2019t really fit in. Then one day, my mom called me and told me, \u2018You got the role.\u2019 And I just grabbed my bag and left. And man, what a wild journey that started.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, the \u2018Rich Baby Daddy\u2019 singer took to Instagram to share a memo, where he revealed getting \u201chigh\u201d before the Degrassi audition. He said, \u201cI go back to this day when I was like 13 or 14. I had an audition for a TV show that ultimately shaped my life,\u201d he explained, referring to\u00a0Degrassi. \u201cBefore my audition, I went to this kid\u2019s house. And I, out of, I guess, a desire to be accepted, I would succumb to peer pressure, and I got high with these kids right before my audition.\u201d<\/p>\n He further revealed that he often wonders about the outcome of his life being different if \u201csomething bad\u201d had happened that day. Drake also thinks deeply about whether his successful life is a piece of reality or imagination. He explains, \u201cYou know, maybe I\u2019m still high, maybe I\u2019m in some coma. And this is just, like, me playing out my ideal life.
