More than a decade after the final Twilight <\/a>film hit cinemas, the franchise is heading back to the big screen.<\/p>\n It\u2019s safe to say the official Twilight social media accounts caused quite the meltdown when their latest post teased a reunion of stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson<\/a> and Taylor Lautner sparking speculation of another installment in the film series.<\/p>\n An Instagram post shared on Wednesday featured a poster of the trio with the tagline \u201cForever begins again\u201d and the words \u201cThis October\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cTomorrow,\u201d the caption simply read.<\/p>\n However Lionsgate have confirmed that there is not going to be another film in the franchise.<\/p>\n Instead the Twilight films are going to return to the big screen this October, with each and every film set to screen during the month.<\/p>\n The news marks the first time since its original release that the entire saga will return to cinemas in a coordinated event.<\/p>\n The saga, adapted from Stephenie Meyer\u2019<\/a>s bestselling novels, grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide during the course of all 5 moviews and catapulted its leads to superstardom.<\/p>\n Batman (AP)<\/p>\n Speaking on the appeal of the Twilight series, director Catherine Hardwicke<\/a> said: \u201cEverybody wants to have that first love. That\u2019s just undeniable \u2026 a love that\u2019s like a drug.\u201d<\/p>\n The renewed interest comes as Netflix prepares an animated spin-off, Midnight Sun, based on Meyer\u2019s 2020 book.
