When she couldn\u2019t give him more, he groomed her into selling her home so she could send him $70,000 more.\u201d<\/p>\nAccording to Abigail, she sent the alleged scammer money in cash, checks, Zelle and Bitcoin.<\/p>\n
After giving away her life savings, Abigail agreed to sell her family\u2019s condo for $350,000.<\/p>\n
\u201c[My mom] argued with me, saying, \u2018No, how are you telling me this is AI if it sounds like him? That\u2019s his face, that\u2019s his voice, I watch him on television all the time,\u2019\u201d Vivian recalled. \u201cIt happened so quickly, within less than three weeks.
