Alex Walter<\/strong> gets a massive glow-up in Netflix<\/strong>\u2019s My Life with the Walter Boys<\/strong><\/a> Season 2. Ashby Gentry<\/strong>, who plays Alex Walter in the series, said that getting over Alex\u2019s Season 1 look was quite stressful, saying, \u201cIt did make me feel like s\u2014 about myself at times.\u201d<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what the actor said about his glow-up experience during an interview.<\/p>\n Alex Walters, one of the brothers in the titular family, receives a glow-up in the second season. During an interview with People<\/a>, actor Ashby Gentry talked about his experiences with each season.<\/p>\n When asked about his reaction to the change, Gentry admitted that he had mixed feelings about it. \u201cIt is definitely difficult to not interpret it as a backhanded compliment.\u201d<\/p>\n While talking about his process, he added, \u201cIt\u2019s not so much that I did stuff this season. It\u2019s more so that I did stuff before, in season one.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of my research and prep for season two was very physical. It was researching glow-up stuff,\u201d the actor shared. \u201cI tried, over the summer, four different hairstyles to see which one I liked. I went to the gym, I got in really good shape, and I made sure my skin was very on point.\u201d<\/p>\n Gentry revealed how a change in his hairstyle was also a part of the character\u2019s glow-up. \u201cSeason one, I felt like Alex was more of a ragamuffin in a way, and so I put his hair in his face and stuff,\u201d he shared. \u201cThe way my hair is in season two is just my hair. That\u2019s just how I do my hair.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo it was hard and it was a lot of pressure, and it did make me feel like s\u2014 about myself at times \u2014 though I disagree\u2014 but I\u2019m happy with how it came out,\u201d the actor admitted.<\/p>\n He concludes by saying, \u201cIn spite of how I felt about it initially \u2014 that initial reaction of like, \u2018Oh, well, why do I need a glow up in the first place?\u2019 \u2014 it was very fun.
