Cardi B<\/strong><\/a> appeared to get agitated at a lawyer\u2019s line of questioning during her recent courtroom testimony<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was more on a high level of concern,\u201d Cardi, 32, said on Wednesday, August 27, per footage shared via ABC7<\/a>, which has since gone viral on social media.<\/p>\n

When opposing counsel asked why the rap star was concerned, she shot back, \u201cBecause I was pregnant.\u201d (Cardi shares daughter Kulture with ex-husband Offset<\/strong>, as well as two younger children.)<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd this girl\u2019s about to f***ing beat my ass. Hello?\u201d she said on the stand.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCardi B hit back after an alleged prankster called Child Protective Services to report that her three children were in danger. \u201cSo I wanna make this very f\u2014ing clear and I can\u2019t even breathe right now,\u201d the rapper, 32, said in an Instagram Live on Monday, October 21. \u201cMotherf\u2014ers have taken s\u2014 too f\u2014ing far [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cardi was accused in a 2020 lawsuit of assaulting a security guard outside of a medical office in Beverly Hills in 2018, while she was expecting Kulture. She denied the allegations, asserting that she only had a verbal altercation with the security official. (The guard is suing Cardi for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and false imprisonment.)<\/p>\n

While on the stand during cross-examination<\/a>, the attorney for the guard asked Cardi whether she thought the plaintiff was larger than her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, look,\u201d Cardi said, gesturing across the courtroom. \u201cI was 130 pounds at the time. She was a little [bigger].\u201d<\/p>\n

The judge then struck down further comments about the guard\u2019s weight before Cardi recalled how she was fearful that the then-verbal argument could have escalated into something physical.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCardi B and Offset\u2019s relationship has been a whirlwind with a secret wedding, a cheating scandal and three children together. The rappers tied the knot in September 2017 after having their first date at Super Bowl LI in Houston in February of that year. They announced in July 2017 that they were expecting a baby [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAt that moment when you\u2019re very pregnant, I\u2019m very disabled,\u201d she said. \u201cYou want me to tell you the things I can\u2019t do? \u2026 I was pregnant, I couldn\u2019t protect myself even if I wanted to. She\u2019s, like, twice my size.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cardi had accused the guard of secretly recording her when she walked into her gynecologist appointment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018F***, why are you recording me? Aren\u2019t you supposed to be security?\u2019\u201d she recalled, maintaining that she never touched the guard. \u201cShe\u2019s trying to get money \u2026 because she\u2019s suing me for $24 million.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIt was a verbal incident. She didn\u2019t hit me. I didn\u2019t hit her. There was no touching. So, to me, it wasn\u2019t no incident.\u201d<\/p>\n
